Look at these Genius!

We have been working hard and my spanish students are rolling on the Genius ladder!

In a bilingual school in Spain, we teach English language arts, social and natural science,  and arts and craft in English language.

Taking advantage of this, I have decided to prepare a cross-curricular lesson

Social science and English arts

What did I do?

My objectives were:

• 5 step lesson. "Earth globe"
• "Genius ladder." Writting skills. 

This is how I worked it out.

5 step lesson "Earth globe"

1. Question: "What is an Earth globe?"
2. Answer: Chunking in information: "An Earth globe represents the Earth as it really is." "Globes show the Earth as a sphere." "The Equator divided the Earth in two hemisphere."...... so on
3. Give out examples: "Spain is in the Northern hemisphere"....
4. Quick test assessment
5. Critical thinking. Bring in the "Genius ladder" and this is what I got.

Now give out a 10 wavy finger WOOOOOO!!!!!
