Superspeed 1,2,3

Yes, that right! WBT has so much to offer. 
   There is also a Superspeed number from 1 to 100. 
                           Greeeeeeat for math!

But today I want to tell all my teachers from Spain how it can be used for our state test "TRINITY"

Give me an Aaaaaaa!

You all know that we need kiddos to identify and say numbers from 1 to 100. Well, here is where we will play this fabulous game.

We play the same way as with Superspeed 100 sight word but instead of words we have number. Have a look!

How to play? Let´s remember.

We have kiddos all sitting in twos (If you have an odd number of students, just make it three.) Now remember that you are the teacher and you know how to pair them up making sure to sit a weaker reader next to a stronger reader.

Once they all are seated they will start reading numbers for one minute switching as they read one number each and yes!!! ‘helpsies’ are allowed because we want kiddos to support each other. When they don´t know a number they will have someone there to help. 

Woooohoooo!!!  

After a minute, they will be called with a class getter and each pair will record the number they got to on the page and then, start again for another minute from the first number they read and see if they can beat their score. Student that started second, will start first this time.

Let me tell you that learning numbers has never been so easy, fun and unforgettable and you will be there to see it!

I am set to speed off to tell you all about the SuperSpeed!!!!

SuperSpeed has to do with sight words. It is a lively, entertaining game designed to teach beginning readers of any age from 100 sight words to 1000. 

Only 100 sight words make up over 50% of all the words students read! 

SuperSpeed 100 contains 100 levels. One new word is added in each level from 1-100; 

There is a Challenge at every 10 levels which contains all the words from previous levels. When students have mastered Level 100, they can go on to SuperSpeed 1000

Let me tell you what it feels like at my school seeing all the non-native English speaking kiddos reading all those words.
