The best present you can give someone is laughter and to get kids to enjoy your lessons they need to be allowed to get involved.
Do you remember my post "Give me a rolling oh yeah" talking about "Mirror word"
Let´s try to remember and bring up the new ones Coach -B has giving out.
What happens next? You talk but you don´t make gestures, students repeat your words and invent their own gestures.

"Magic mirror!"
Gesture for this is as easy as wiggleling your fingers at the front and making that magic tone of magic voice while saying "Magic mirror!" and put your hands behind your back. What happens next? You talk but you don´t make gestures, students repeat your words and invent their own gestures.
"Silent mirror!"
Gesture for this is the same gesture you use to say "Silence please!"
What happens next? You talk and make gestures and your students say nothing, silently mirroring your gestures.
"Mirror ventriloquist!"
Great for the students that need eyes on them where they will be pull out to the front and while you do the talking they do the gestures and the other students follow. You can even get your leaders to help you on this!
When teaching this to kids, don´t do it all at once. First start with one, and gradually bring up the other mirrors during the school year..
Sounds fun, doesn´t it! Well take a step and
start trying it!
start trying it!
